Delete your poolcntrl account

This page is for the poolcntrl app, made by poolcntrl. You can delete your account and your pool data yourself from inside the app, or ask us to do it here.

In the app

1. Open poolcntrl and sign in.
2. Open the Account tab and tap “Delete account…” at the bottom of the list.
3. Type DELETE, tap “Delete my account permanently”, then confirm.

This deletes the account straight away. It cannot be undone.

Without the app

Send the email address you signed up with. We email that address to confirm before deleting anything, then delete the account within 30 days. You can also write to support@poolcntrl.com.

What is deleted

• Your account and the email address it uses
• Properties and pools
• Water tests, recommendations, chemical logs and maintenance logs

What is kept

• Anonymized totals that cannot be traced back to you, such as how many recommendations were made in a month.
• Messages you sent us through the website or the app, including a deletion request made on this page. They keep your email address and are no longer linked to an account.
• Product usage events and crash reports described in our privacy policy, held by the analytics and error-reporting services we use under their own retention periods.
• A subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play is billed by that store. Deleting your account does not cancel it, and the store keeps its own purchase records. Cancel it in the store first.
